I'm finally getting around to ordering the skin and started by reviewing everyone's comments. I'm liking your idea of the polyester being stapled to the gunwales and overed with a rub rail, but I have a few questions. Do you caulk(?) between the overlap to prevent leaks? What weight fabric do you use? What do you use to coat the poly? I've seen pictures of your boats and like they way they look.
