Strip: Do you regret a flawed deck?

I'm about half way through my deck, and I've run into a problem. I've discovered that my center strips have pulled about 1/2" to one side at the bow, so that I'll have nearly one full strip extra on the other side. As my center strips are accent colored, it'll be noticable (at least to me). Also, at the pinch at the bow and stern my strips haven't been cut well, so that I'll have to patch in some filler wood to repair my mistakes.

I have a fair amount of work in the deck so far, probably in the realm of 20 hours. I probably have enough extra strips to scrap the deck and start over. My question for the forum is, at what point have any of you decided to scrap some major work and start over? I'm not looking for a perfect boat by any means, but I'm wondering if there's a "tipping point" where you've found the imperfections in your build detracting from your enjoyment of the boat.
