Hey Paddlers

This is a shot of my new Nikumi 19 I recently finished. This is at the finish of the Phatt Water Challenge, A 42.5 mile race on the Mississippi River. It was October 10 sorry it took so long to post. I had finished it the day before and the first time out was a long distance race.
Tom Yost talked me into building the Nikumi 19 for this event and I had a blast building and paddling it.
This baidarka is quick and low volume definitely a high performance skin on frame.
If you look you may notice the bow is a copy of the CNM12212 from Harvy Golden's web site triditionalkayaks.com. I can't take credit for this idea it came from Dave Gentry. Thanks Dave. All comments and questions are welcome good or otherwise.
