I race against surfski's which are usually 21'. I lose 2 or 3 boat lengths whenever the course does a 180 degree turn around a buoy. Otherwise the speed is reasonably close. Surfskis have 2" to 4" of rocker.

To be fair Nick has always advised it is a good straight line boat and will suffer at mark roundings but I sure wish it had some rocker. It seems even flat water boats K1's etc. have at least a bit.

Only one E18 has been built so far. I think it's posted on the BlueHeron site.
