In the pic, the wood stringers being used were 5/8". If you are using 3/4", then the cutout is 3/4" to match the offset point.

The plywood will not interfere as it's recessed by the concave cutout area as seen in the pics. The concave can be set back a little
at the stringers if you want, though it's not necessary....but the outside of the stringer's should be equal to the offset point's
unless otherwise indicated.
