Someone linked to this in another forum and I was just mesmerized watching it. Partly because it is such a lost art and partly because I love (and use) hand tools a lot. But this makes my hand tools look modern! Anywa, it was filmed in the 40's and we get to watch a Pirogue made from felling the tree to it's first paddle.
