Well folks, I put the first layer of 'glass on last night. It didn't wet out real good. It was not the epoxy, it was the glass. I am thoroughly convinced the local chandlery sold me the wrong stuff. I found some cloth scraps at home that I believe are 6 ounce, and this stuff is way thicker. I did do a test and it wetted out fine, but once I got the whole boat done there are some spots that you can still see the fibers, and it's not just that it needs a fill coat. It is definately the wet-out. I just put a fill coat and I'm just going to have to live with what I've got. At least it's the bottom of the boat. I will order some proper fiberglass for the deck from a reputable dealer. I'll keep ya posted.
