I asked simular questions a few years ago.
Touch-ups should be done ASAP so it will chemically bond. Wait too long and it won't stick. I think 24 hours is still ok. Someone else will confirm that for us.
If the mix was a little off you might get some stickiness. I did and mine went away after a few days.
