A friend has a fiberglass boat that I would like to copy the design of the hull and build it using wood strips. I know man who is the original manufacturer and he has no problem with me doing this. My question is how? what is the best way to get the form shapes off an existing hull? Has anyone out there tried this? Any ideas or tip are appreciated.
