: A friend has a fiberglass boat that I would like to copy the design
: of the hull and build it using wood strips. I know man who is
: the original manufacturer and he has no problem with me doing
: this. My question is how? what is the best way to get the form
: shapes off an existing hull? Has anyone out there tried this?
: Any ideas or tip are appreciated.

There's some strong opinions on this forum on copyright. You should be 100.99% sure this is OK with the designer.
