: I have a ten year old Explorer, found a hole in the bottom, then
: got a little sidetracked. The previous owner decided to paint it
: blue so since I was working on the bottom, naturally i decided
: to see what the original color was. I sanded off about a quarter
: size section, wetted it, and revealed a pretty ruby red.

: So now i have 95% of the paint removed and have a delirium, what to
: do about the areas around the coaming and hatch covers. I am
: guessing elbo or finger grease to get the nooks and crannies
: because I am thinking I should avoid going chemical. I should
: avoid going chemical, right? Maybe one of those sanding
: sponges.....

: BTW, I bought a multi-tool at Harbor Freight for 39.00 and it works
: like a champ.

Depends on what you want the end result to be. I'm assuming this is the NDK Explorer? If it is the orriginal surface is gelcoat and since you've sanded on the surface wonder what you expect do do with the gelcoat.
