on a first kayak it might make sense to glass the insides first, as they will be well and truly hidden. first the inside of deck, since glassing the inside sides of the hull - almost vertical - is trickier.

if one needs to store the parts over a longer time, putting the forms inside and fixing them with drops of hot glue is probably wise. and when the deck is on and in place, one can tape around the hull to keep everything in place. packing straps work fine too, if one happens to have some.
