Hey Kudzu,

I also have that saw and a while back, my bearings started screaming, too. My impression was that the bearings that came with the saw were pretty low quality bearings. For a few bucks, I upgraded to better quality bearings, and the noise ceased. You might want to check for any bearing shops in your area; the noise is quite annoying and also detrimental to your hearing.
