Actually, there may be hope- try hanging some 300-watt lightbulbs over your work to heat it up. I use them in my guitar side-bending machine and they get hot enough to bend wood (at close range) maybe it will work for your situation. I've seen it done in many posts. Unfortunately my problem is the opposite- I have to wait for it to cool off before I can glass and I have a very short window because the glass kicks fast. Think of your problem as a blessing in disguise! It's easier to heat up the area than to cool it off.
