Scott,

I saw a pile of these at a shop in Sacramento, about half of them had a broken little spring loaded lever that applies pressure to lock in the teeth that hold the position. Not sure what happened to those. I did buy a set in a local shop for $25.00 for the boat I am working on. I guess for the price I will take my chances. They are lighter that the Yakimas I used on my first boat, but I don't think they are as strong. I'm focusing more on weight this time.
