Btw, I've built quite a few Yost SOF's and never attach the skin the coaming other than with caulk and havn't had any problems at all. The two pieces of the coaming screwed together captures the skin between them just fine. I always pick up the boats by the coaming.

Of course my skin is unlike most everyone elses but still it shouldn't matter, don't see a reason using that coaming design to sew the skin to the coaming.
