Skin-on-Frame: Pre dyed nylon?

Anyone used a dyed nylon for a skin? I ran across some and it 'says' it is not coated, just dyed. Pretty non traditional colors but for some people, that would be a good thing. Just curious if anyone had tried any. If it is truly uncoated I don't see a problem.
