Hi George,

That's how I did the coaming on my Disko Bay, Nick's method of vertical strips for the upright and Vaclav's method of the carbon fiber for the lip and inner riser. Worked ok. Not sure I'd do it again that way though, the minicell blocks are difficult to fair to get a nice smooth coaming lip. I think I'd just break down and build a female mold for the lip, it's not that much more difficult and then you have a perfectly smooth and fair coaming lip.
