Strip: Moving strongback
I have been looking for a shop to build a kayak for a long time. Now I think I have found one. There's just one drawback: I have to store the kayak outside during the daytime, when I´m not building. My plan is to put it in a large wooden box (to protect it from weather and vandalism) with casters under it, so i´m able to move it around during the build.
But how do I make a strongback that is stable enough to be moved? I´m especially worried about the glue joints between the strips.
I have see a few descriptions for mobile stands, but I don´t know how they will work when the kayak must be moved daily.
Any ideas are welcome.
