I appreciate your confirmation. However I am attempting to not use stapples. I am only attaching a strip on either side at a time. I am actually stripping only the deck. When I lived in Seattle I had a fiberglass hull built for me by a kayak builder. At this point I have two strips on either side, and then I started getting concerned that my work would all fall apart with the temp dropping. Thanks again for relieving me of this concern.
