You can use epoxy like contact cement to glue upĀ larger veneer pieces. You have to experiment with your epoxy as far as heat and time or do it on the weekend when you're around.

You coat each surface good. Then there will be a period when the epoxy has kicked and becomes very tacky. You can then put the pieces together and roll them down. Make sure your veneer sandwich will make the bend around the front of the cockpit. The glass sandwich I used is quite flexible but stiffens up more each day. Once I add a another tape layer on the outside and inside and it was well hardened, it was very strong and stiff. Labor-wise it's fairly simple.
