You can actually buy PVAc glue (yellow glue) for winter use. I don't know the us glue brands, but I have found one that is sold i Norway (and Denmark):

Bostik does have an us homepage (www.bostik-us.com), but I can't find this specific glue. Maybe it's called something else.

Both glues will work down to -10 C (about 14 F). And they can be stored down to -40 C / -40 F.
