Terrific video, nice kayaks.
Mating dolphins? Wow.
I've also found that they don't seem to be much interested in kayaks, they do seem to be interested in swimmers. Ocean swimming a 100 yards off the beach in Southern California dolphins have popped up right next to me, and I've seen them curious about swimmers I've escorted. They only seem to pay any attention to my kayak when they surface close by, and usually it's to move away.
Here's a link to my video, posted on Facebook, of a pod of about 100 dolphins that swam past me November 11, 09 when I was paddling back from Anacapa Island across the Santa Barbara Channel.

For some weird information: google "dolphins assault" there are actual scientific papers on all the problems associated with dolphins in petting tanks. The dolphins get sick, some of the people get attacked. Misbehaving children... get bit. We all enjoy a scary story, but as kayakers we're too sophisticated for shark week. My swim coach used to tell stories about misbehaving excited young dolphins.
