: On my Petrel I used the following sequence ...
: 1. Sanded & glassed the outside of the hull prior to stripping
: the deck. Filled the weave.
: 2. Stripped the deck.
: 3. Separated the hull & deck, removed all forms.
: 4. Sanded & glassed the inside of the hull and deck. Caution is
: needed here for the deck, but it's stronger than you might
: think.
: 5. Bonded deck to hull with FG tape on interior seams. Spreader
: sticks were used on the hull where required. I don't think the
: deck had distorted at all.
: 6. Glass the deck. This sequence allows the deck glass to be lapped
: over the hull a couple of inches for added strength to the
: hull/deck joint.

: for me. I know I must be reading you wrong, but if you glass the
: outside of the deck to a few inches below the hull shear line
: then they won't separate. (?)
