Thanks Kirk. Yes you're right it is 14'11". I was over-thinking it. I wish I'd made my strongback out of 3/4" plywood so that i could have just put my 1/2" end forms between the sides of the beam and screwed them in place rather than cutting the notches in the end forms to accomodate the strongback. It might have been a little more sturdy that way. I have all my parts made now, and I just need to assemble the frame. It would be nice to document this thing like you're doing, but I'm a techno idiot. I'll post some pictures of the finished product.
