Brian. Thanks for the observation. The shafts are of two halves epoxied together and I was kind of relying on this for some extra strength. What I may have to do is use one, and if it breaks I'll glass the other one! I don't realy want the extra weight if I can avoid it though. Thanks for all the responses. Les Cheeseman.
