I have read the article on the surf70 bullet "scuppers". The do indeed look great. For a home builder, I'm thinking it would be easier to install bailers that have been around a while in the sailing world - and don't protrude from the hull. They used to be called "Elvstrom bailers" after the inventor but are now called "Anderson bailers" I believe: http://www.pyacht.com/andersen-new-large-bailer.htm?E+scstore

If I am not mistaken, this is type of bailer Epic is now using on their V12 and Van Dusen uses on their unlimited K-1 Mohican speedster.

Btw, I keep thinking there's a surfski in my future as well. Although I don't live near the ocean and don't have waves to really surf on...
