I don't think that you'll find anything other than very general indications. Even then, the whole thing is going to vary from manufacturer to manufacturer and possibly even lift to lift of sheet goods. The makers can use trees from different parts of the same forest, slice it in varying degrees of ply thickness, vary the chemistry of the glue, etc. and all of those things will yield differing results.
Virtually every builder I know, who is pushing the boundaries, has had panels go Kablooey on them at one point or another. It's one of the learning things that designers have to endure. (well, at least I've had to endure it) Welcome to the club. I'm sure that the guys here will help you with whatever you find yourself tangled.
