This all started due to a worn through hole under the seat pan, then I got sidetracked and decided to refinish the whole boat. What i don't understand is this is a design flaw. I previously owned a Boreal Ellesmere and it wore through from the inside as well and betting others besides NDK have a hard shell seat cutting through and springing a leak.
