You might want to look into a copy of Harvey Golden's Kayaks of Greenland. It has lines drawings of bunches of historic kayaks that you could transfer to a block of wood pretty easily. You could also scour some sites like Brian Schulz's to see if you can find any drawings. Harvey's web site has some as well.
