Greetings, Y'all

Linda and I be headin' out to da Caribbean today. I will be staying with Mr M. Schweizer for a couple of weeks while researching ocean kayaking on warm water, the Rasta movement and Guinness consumption under conditions of hot ambient conditions, in that order. I am bring my own ice floe since hearing that there is an ice shortage on the Caribbean Ocean. I will be journaling, making voice recordings of interviews with local representatives and, of course, taking photographs of the experience. Malcolm has offered to take me on a 20-mile ocean paddle which should include 6-8 ft swells. I kinda hope they are bigger but I will take what I can get. Stay tuned for a fairly long trip report. Oh yes, apparently I am forbidden to bring along my Speedo so I will be shopping for a mankini (also known as a banana hammock - ala Borat) while on the island.
