Ha! Welcome to the club. Yes it is one of the tools of any classical or flamenco guitarist. For me it all started with an old girlfriend who showed me how to tear a piece of paper off a cigarette and use it along with krazy glue to fix a nail- much like fiberglassing a kayak on a small scale! I have now migrated up to using silk and fiberglass wraps that you can get from a professional nail supplier, and I coat it with krazy glue that you can now get in a brush applicator. Don't do this unless you play often and break nails enough to make it worth always keeping wraps on the nail because it does cause some nail atrophy- i.e. the nail will get thinner because it becomes dependent on the wrap. Also I have found that the nail doesn't weaken as much if you only wrap down to about 1/4 inch below the tip of the nail.

I am never without a bottle of Krazy Glue with brush applicator. Just a note- they sometimes don't allow it beyond the security checkpoint at airports- not even in the ziplock bag with all your other liquids. Apparently it can be deadly in the hands of terrorists! "Okay, do as I say or I will make you breathe Krazy Glue fumes- if you don't believe me just read the Kayak Forum... this stuff is deadly." I keep it in my pocket and if I get the pat-down check I usually get away with saying "oops, I forgot that was there." Sometimes they confiscate it saying you can't carry Krazy Glue on a plane (I'm serious) and sometimes they don't.
