: thanks for the tips (Pun intended) I did onother experiment last
: night with tite bond wood glue.

: I glued a piece of white oak to the ceadar blank im playing with.
: this morning I checked it and to my surprise the loom was going
: to break before the glue joint does. COOL!!!

: I must have not had a good enough surface when I tried epoxy as the
: glue joint snapped without too much effort.

Btw, I prefer mahogany for the tips, honduras if I can get it. It's hard enough to not bruise too much and it's far lighter than most other hardwoods so doesn't add excessive weight. Also shapes and glues easily.
