Mike,
I could've sworn I saw F1 plans, but didn't book mark them and the msg. doesn't show up on the board any more. Can you please share it again?
Thanks,
Mark
: Hi Everyone-
: Earlier this week I posted a link to Brian Schulz's Cape Falcon
: Kayaks F1 design. Today he posted a new page about repairing a
: hole in the kayak's skin. If you paddle a skin-on-frame kayak
: you should probably see this, and if you don't already have the
: tools in your emergency kit you could add them pretty cheaply.
: On the subject of emergency kits- everyone should carry one, not
: just SOF owners. You may never need it, but a friend of mine in
: a high-end commercial composite kayak was saved last spring
: after dropping her kayak while taking it off from the car and
: cracking it by a friend paddling a SOF who happened to have duct
: tape in her repair kit. In this case she would have just missed
: a nice paddle, but better safe than sorry...
