Re: Skin-on-Frame: Poly paint for nylon skin?
In Response To: Skin-on-Frame: Poly paint for nylon skin? (John Oetting)
All I know is that I have read that it is very hard to get most things to stick to nylon. But polyester most anything will stick to it. I used a 15 oz polyester and painted it with oil base paint no problem. The weave it loose and it's a pain to work with but it worked and shrunk up wonderfully!
I have a pulling boat on my list someday too. I have the general design done.
