Thanks for the notes- others have told me differently. I just anted to add that heat will loosen any adhesive, even epoxy. Hair driers are good for tape, but heat guns are good for stubborn stuff. For residue and the like, 3M makes a product called General Purpose Adhesive Remover that does what it says without a struggle. It's usually available at painter's supply places, but also available at auto parts stores as "adhesive, wax, and tar remover."
