S&G: "Really Red" kayak colouring

I was searching the archives and i came across a statement that was used in passing that the guy had "at last found and really red colour" for his kayak.
I tried to get a really red paste for my epoxy but could only get a rather orange looking red. I would love to find a really red epoxy paste. OR..... A really red stain for the ply that will accept epoxy on top of it.

Can anyone help please?
