Well, I usually only post completed boats, but I forgot to order any fabric until this morning . . . .

Old - It's a derivative, psuedo-replica of a West Greenland/Disko Bay qajaq. I lofted it from a drawing in Harvey Golden's book, "Kayaks of Greenland."
New - I modified it for non-traditional construction, because I was in a hurry to build while the weather was good. Also, I'm putting in a standard sized coaming (of bent Ash), and I raised the masik a bit for more leg and foot room.

Nearly 17' long and 21" wide. Lots of stem. Built of plywood frames and Redwood stringers. I started on Thursday, and it's ready for skinning, as of last night.
