: but I'm
: having a little trouble picturing how to do the stem and stern.

Not sure if I have photos online or not of this? But I have two naked frames in the shop right now. Going to start skinning one in a few hours and I will grab some photos. I am a total convert to lashing! I just did my first multi-chined hull and I think it took 20 hours to lash it there were so many joints!

As for my seat boards there is a flaw in this design. They need to be up higher than I have them if there is any chance of hitting anything. I was shooting a shoal (I know I should have done that to start with) and a rock lifted the skin upward and hit the seat board. IT STOPPED THE BOAT DEAD! Ripped the skin open and through my spare paddle off the deck. So I need to modify that idea and get the seat board up higher. But it didn't break!!
