IMO both cameras (indeed all the current batch of pocket cameras) are pushing the pixel density, not always to the benefit of results. If you can wait a little while for DP review to put them through their paces I would.

Buying blind, I would go for the Lumix. I have had nothing but excellence from Panasonics.
