: I am about to finish my Yost Sea Rider and have a coaming question.
: I have a half inch thick sorta pre-coaming or base attached to
: the frame at stations 4 and 5 with proper side supports. I went
: ahead and skinned it covering this with plans to sandwich the 12
: oz cloth between the base and stacked outer coaming and hoping
: this will work.

: Using Cory's Goop, can I or should I go ahead and coat it, then
: while still wet add some thickened Goop to seal the outer rings?
: Following up with temp screws to sandwich tight, later removing
: screws and replacing with dowels????

: It seems like it should be secure and watertight.

This sounds like a good plan to me. I often use silicon sealant to accomplish the same thing.

Good luck!
