Hi Rosanna,
Just my 2 cents, I used the 8 oz. polyester from Dyson with Zar on this Nikiumi. I have used the Premo nylon and goop from skin boat on an earlier traditional build and was happy with the results however IMHO the polyester / zar was much much easier than the nylon / goop. For a first time build you will like the way poly shrinks and holds it's shape and the zar is about fool proof. That Nikumi is still drum tight as well as the others I have done. When you weigh all your options cost and ease count for something. Good luck,
