Hi bill

assuming you are using 1/2" timber for the forms,
I imagine the centre forms would be 11" apart. It's the paper forms you want to be always 12" apart. So if you stick them to 1/2" timber, and the form should be placed on the strongback so that the paper form faces the thinner end of the boat at that point. So the middle two forms end up 11" apart. Personally I found it easiest to put the forms on from the middle out, because this made them easier to line up
