What type of bench top you have will matter. As to how well it stuck to the bench top. Your options will depend on the bond to the bench. Heat will soften it up but it takes a heat gun and some patience. I salvaged a cabinet I was working on with heat and some pressure. But it didn't come apart easy but it did eventually give in.
