Good advice guys, I agree about the screw-in cup hooks. I think I will do something like Kurt's except with plywood covered with carbon cloth.

I did build the hatch lips and the combing out using One Ocean's composite layup technique. I am very pleased with the results!

But the two pics that you guys posted show one and two pair of "hooks". So am I right thinking about two pair for the larger rear hatch and one pair for the front?
