How do you guys attach the strips to the stem piece and keep everything tight? I find that the first strip and the several after are not coming together very well at all as they attach at the stem piece. Ive cut the proper angles and staple the strip to the stem as well as use glue. It seems like the angle is too sharp and pulls at the strips not allowing for a good sharp point. What is a good way to finish this off in end? Just a lot of sanding or what? Thanks so much for any replies or pics to help out!
