I agree, I have never let something like that sit this long. Up till now I have always had a machine restored and running within 2-3 months after it hit my shop. I have my boats ready for the Outdoor expo so I am going to be looking for a project in a couple of weeks. I think it's time to get back on the bandsaw and get it finished.

One of the first things I tried after my accident was cutting scarfs on the bandsaw. On my 14" the blade would twist just a little when I touched the blade with the wood at such an angle and I could never get consistent enough cuts. If I could I would NEVER use the table saw for scarf cuts. Maybe this one would cut it. At the speed it pulls that blade I expect it would.
