: I have decided that I need to enlarge the cockpit of my CLC
: kit--Artic Hawk--quite a bit.
: I ordered the medium sized cockpit. The kit method is a stacked
: plywood raiser then a one layer lip which is all glassed.
: So once I settle on a size shape, what is the easiest way to get
: 'er built?
: Any suggestions about size and shape would also be appreciated.
: I took measurement from an impex boat this past weekend it had a
: keyhole cockpit. I decided I am just not limber enough to get
: back into a small cockpit.

: One of the nice points of making the boat--the hole can be any size
: shape I want.

: Thanks for the help.

The easiest way to build a larger cockpit would be to contact CLC and see if they can recommend a larger one that will fit the Arctic Hawk, and sell you the new coaming pieces.
