Has anyone had experience stripping a Kayak hull or deck with Pacific Albus? Pacific Albus is a new wood being marketed by Collins Pacific. I am interested in hearing opinions about weight, strength, durability, workability, shaping, ease of use, wow factor, etc, and etc, as related to all things Kayak.

I found some at a local hardwood supply here in Seattle. I was surprised at how lightweight it was. It is a very light wood and appears strong.
