It sounds like this may be a way to market wood from the poplar 'plantations' which popped up in the PNW several years ago. Rename something to make it sound exotic and market it like crazy. Squid sounds ugly, but calamari is gourmet. Poplar is uninteresting, but Albus? Must be something new and exotic. And wasn't Hogwarts headmaster named Albus (Dumbledore)? Must be magical.
